Like the flames they can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.

Description: a jutsu created by Minato Namikaze, allowing the user to transport himself to another location in the blink of an eye. Although it is often compared with the Body Flicker Technique, the speed and range of this jutsu are much greater. In principle, this jutsu is similar to the Summoning Technique, as it revolves around manipulation of time and space rather than accelerated movement, but instead of bringing something to users, it sends them somewhere somewhat like a substitution jutsu. The jutsu is fast enough to even allow Minato to escape Madara's Space–Time Migration, despite the latter already being in physical contact with him. Minato can also use this technique to teleport other objects, such as when he used it to teleport the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox out of Konohagakure, though the size of the object determines the amount of chakra required

Description: This technique channels a large amount of lightning chakra to the user's hand. The amount of chakra is so great that it becomes visible. The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and thrusts the Chidori into the target. This produces heavy amounts of damage that is usually fatal. This technique is classified as an assassination technique because of the speed at which it is performed, despite the loud noise it produces. Chidori can also be used to simply give the opponent a large electrical shock without impaling them

Description: By releasing the Chidori in every direction, an electrical discharge flows from the user's entire body allowing him to affect multiple enemies. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defense. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the Lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves," making its muscles contract. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives damage. This will also neutralize other lightning jutsu so long as they are not more powerful. This attack can also be channeled through the ground to increase the range of the attack

When observed, it was noted that Madara's chakra would become untraceable when he phased through objects, and also when he teleports to avoid any damage. According to Madara, he can locate anyone and teleport to them. The ability can be used without predefined locations and without hand seals

It is A-ranked because the jutsu creates nearly 100 copies of the thrown weapons. Kento possesses tattoos on his wrists which allow him to summon his exploding shurikens at any instant.

Description: Kento created this technique himself, he makes a tornado sized whirlwind infused with lightning into the sky which gathers all the clouds together into one giant cloud. The Giant cloud is infused with the lightning from the giant whirlwind which coverts the cloud's structure into a storm cloud, it will usually begin to rain afew minuites after the technique is released for a long amount of time

Description: This technique allows the user to flow Chidori through any weapon. This makes it nearly unblockable as the radiating and chirping blade can easily cut through steel. Furthermore, if an opponent is stabbed, their body goes numb due to an electrical current which causes the muscles to go stiff, making it impossible for the opponent to move. However, it can be countered by other weapons that also utilize chakra flow. The user can channel his lightning chakra into the blade with chakra flow, which will increase its sharpness greatly through high frequency vibrations, as well as increasing its cutting range. This would allow him to cut through almost anything, as well as numb the target who has been pierced by this lightning blade
